Welcome to our easy to handle rigorous Mode Solver ATSOS, an Analysis Tool for Stratified Optical Structures – the module for planar multi layer photonic systems.
This software consists of a modern Java® based graphical user interface with an underlying C++/Fortran computational core. The software allows simulation of planar dielectric and metal systems as well as design and analysis of reflection, transmission and ellipsometric optical spectra. It will calculate optical waveguide and plasmon modes for a broad spectrum of application in the field of integrated optics and photonics.
In the near future it is scheduled to come with modern features like genetic algorithms for design and neural net assisted data analysis of optical spectra.
